Farewell Fr C. J. Millen

All good things must come to an end!

Fr C.J. first arrived in our parish in December 2021 and remained here until the return from his recent Sabbatical in August 2025. Fr C.J. has endeared himself to the people of Sts John and Paul through his kindness and love. He has looked after the parish for long periods of time and been involved in the life of this parish in the very best possible way!

When Fr C.J. was asked which were some of his warmest memories, to which he responded: helping create the garden with the parish which included wood-chipping the front and around the grounds; the Camino walks to the Cathedral (maybe he will join us again this year?); winter sleepout at the parish, celebrating the sacraments and mixing with the various groups in the parish, including our parish school, Orana.

Fr C.J. has been appointed Parish Priest (PP) of St Augustine’s in Rivervale, which is his first appointment as a parish priest … Congratulations

Fr C.J. we wish him well in this new adventure in which we are sure that he will bring new life to the parish. It’s never easy for a parish to farewell a priest, especially one loved as much as Fr C.J., but our loss is St Augustine’s gain!
