Theme: T4C Session 8 May 2021 – The Mysteries of the Holy Rosary
The Month of May is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother and in this T4C session, the youth from the John Paul Youth Movement will be presenting the mysteries of the Holy Rosary along with some interesting activities relating to the Rosary. Kindly bring a friend along and a plate to share.
Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions, wearing of masks is compulsory during the sessions.
JPYM is a youth group for young adults (ages 18 to 30) which focuses on fellowship, learning about our faith and contributing to the parish and broader community. We get together for Formation on the 1st Saturday of the month, after the 6:30 Mass. We also host monthly adoration (and soon the monthly Youth Mass), attend broader Perth Archdiocese events organised by the Catholic Youth Ministry Perth and take part in community events such as carols, visits to nursing homes and monthly canteen. JPYM also aims to help support young adults navigate the modern world and us all closer to our Lord. For more information, please contact Tiffany Poi (email@example.com).
Formed in 2018, Mission4Christ is led by a core group of young leaders. M4C serves the parish and wider community through mission and volunteer work. Our team of volunteers undertake regular volunteer activities such as attending to the homeless; leading formation sessions at parish youth events; running free tutoring sessions; and participating in community charity events run by organisations such as the Cancer Council and the Foodbank. While most of the volunteers are young Catholic adults, the Lord has also drawn volunteers of other diverse background into M4C, such as older adults, non-parishioners, and even a few non-Christians. We are thankful to the Lord for using M4C as a powerful platform for all people of goodwill to propagate Christ’s message of love; and for M4C to serve as a bridge to extend Christ’s love beyond the walls of our parish. With so many volunteer activities planned, M4C is always looking for new volunteers. If you are over-18 and want to lend us a hand, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We love to hear from you!
